Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (version 3) 

Windows SharePoint Services is a technology in Windows Server 2003 that works well together with the 2007 Microsoft Office system.
Component Requirement

Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition R2, Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition R2, Windows Server 2003 x64 R2, Windows Server 2003 Datacenter Edition or Windows Server 2003 Web Edition later plus service packs. .NET Framework 3.0, Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 with common files, Internet Simple Mail Transfer Protocol/Post Office Protocol 3 (SMTP/POP3), Internet Message Access Protocol 4 (IMAP4), or MAPI-compliant messaging software required for e-mail notifications.3, World Wide Web service, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0.

Hardware Requirements


Server with a processor speed of at least 2.5 GHz or higher; dual processor 3GHz or higher recommended; 2 GB RAM memory recommended1; 3GB of available hard disk; SQL Server 2000 SP3 (or later) or SQL 2005 system with dual processors of 2.5 GHz and 2 GB RAM minimum; disk space up to 2 GB for installation minimum, 5 GB or more minimum for data. 1024x768 or higher resolution monitor.
